A very select guest list was created for the 200-year anniversary of De Nederlandsche Bank. Royals, high-ranking politicians and upper-tier members of the world of international finance were all hosted in the courtyard of the beautifully renovated Scheepvaartmuseum, at two gala dinners.

The atmosphere, the décor and the menu were all inundated with the rich history of the VOC. Based on this theme, Famous Flavours was then given the creative freedom to develop a culinary concept.

The VOC, as a pillar of Dutch wealth, serves easily as a vehicle for a great story. This theme set the menu for the two gala dinners. Noting the formal setting, and the guest list that goes along with such a setting, it was imperative that all the guests we provided with exactly what they needed. We took extra special care in selecting our own hosting staff.

Special

The result was a spectacular event that paid homage to old Dutch grandeur. The cooperation between DNB and the Scheepvaartmuseum resulted in a flawlessly executed event with a unique (culinary) feel.
